MARINT have been responding to a growing list of ship owners, ship managers and underwriters for over 30 years on their towage and salvage requirements.  Additionally, we source suitable vessels for STS (Ship to Ship) /lightering, diving, barges, wreck inspection, wreck removal, salvage masters, bunker removal or formulate packages of personnel and equipment where innovative ideas and unusual or modified equipment is required to provide the client with an economic and safe solution. This, when necessary, includes chartering planes to transfer equipment and personnel.

Commercial towages

MARINT have been providing A to B towage solutions (sometimes via C, D and E in between) for over 25 years. From Floating Productions Units to Floating Restaurants, Self-Elevating Platforms to Sonar Buoys, Dredging Equipment to Decommissioned Frigates, Marint have been involved in the towage of them all and our team of Towage and Salvage Brokers monitor tugs and towage markets worldwide and are able to use this information to ensure our clients are fully aware of market conditions, and when to make key decisions in the towage process.

Whether negotiating for prompt towage and salvage requirements or assisting our clients build future budgets, Marint provide the same high level of support, service and intelligence throughout.

Marint remain involved with a towage from start to finish, negotiating pricing, drawing up contracts and monitoring the performance of a tug throughout the voyage and ensuring that any issues arising along the way are professionally and promptly attended to

Offshore Chartering

Marint has been involved in the offshore markets for the last twenty years, assisting a variety of companies in chartering suitable offshore vessels, as required, to support their programmes.

These vessels include Anchor Handling Tugs / Supply vessels (AHT/S), Dive Support Vessels (DSV), Platform Supply Vessels (PSV), Fast Support Intervention Vessels (FSIV’s), crew boats, escort tugs, utility vessels, accommodation barges etc, which are sourced locally or internationally as required.

Valuations

Our team of experienced brokers provide valuations for all types of vessels utilised in the offshore, towage and marine transportation markets.

Our fleet or individual vessel valuations are provided to our clientele of Ship Owners, Finance Professionals, Underwriters and Salvors, as well as governmental and quasi-governmental agencies.

Our position as a privately owned and independently managed brokerage means that we are able to provide entirely impartial assessments of a vessel’s value and our proximity to the day to day machinations of the market place mean that we are able to be accurate in doing so.

We understand the urgency of some valuation requirements and provide a prompt response and valuation when instructed, whilst ensuring all necessary due dilligence procedures are adhered to and there is no compromise to the quality of information provided.

Heavy lift, lightering, cargo transportation and sale & purchase

MARINT is very well experienced in servicing all heavy-lift and project cargo requirements.

This includes submitting offers for roll-on/roll-off, float-on/float-off and heavy lift and other specialist vessels and barges, together with the requisite ancillary services such as assist tugs at load and discharge locations.

Amongst the Marint team we have a blend of both practical and professional experience unsurpassed by larger brokerages which enable us to guide our clients with relevant and appropriate advice with regards to their niche sale & purchase requirements. Marint’s Master Mariners and Fellows of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers combined with an in depth understanding of the financial markets through recent complex bareboat lease-purchase and straight purchase transactions involving various blends of private equity and alternate funding arrangements means that Marint are well equipped to improve our clients’ positions from assessment of requirement through to successful conclusion of transaction.

Recent S&P transactions concluded via Marint have included FPSO Support Units, Ballastable Deck Cargo Barges and ocean going tugs.
